Trend Endpoint Security Platform (ESP) Proof-of-Concept Deployment Service
The scope of this project will be limited to installing the ESP technology in a client environment and executing the activities as defined in the project objectives and deliverables section of a to be defined Statement of Work (SOW).
The POC SOW will address the following:
- The ESP infrastructure will be installed into a client environment adhering to the specifications detailed in a Proof-of-Concept Statement of Work.
- Trend Micro will assign Lead Engineer to a Project Team consisting of a Lead Engineer from Trend and a System Engineer from the client. This team will have the responsibility of working together to define priorities and system requirements.
- Trend Micro will deliver the Project Deliverables and Milestones as outlined in the SOW.
- Trend Micro will provide knowledge transfer for client’s staff. This will provide the client with the ability to manage the system upon completion of the project.
- Trend Micro will provide complete documentation of the assessment and the system design

Trend Endpoint Security Platform (ESP) Initial Production Deployment Service
Deployment services for customers with up to 10,000 endpoints.
Key activities typically include:
- assistance with hardware and software requirements for the ESP components;
- assistance with the planning and installation of the ESP components including ESP
- server, console, and relays;
- assistance with agent testing;
- assistance with the planning and deployment of agents and
- project management.
This offering consists of an estimated thirty-two (32) hours of services with no more than sixteen (16) hours delivered on-site over the course of two (2) business days. However, the actual hours described above may vary; but Licensee will be invoiced and will pay for a minimum of thirty-two (32) hours. The remaining hours can/will be done off site with either custom content development or configuration changes via secured VPN connection.
Multiple Units of this service offering may be required in complex environments or for complex project objectives. Scoping can be confirmed by Training Manager.

Up to 15 people, onsite at customer complete training for Master Operators (2 x 1 day 6 hours working lunch, English)

Instructor-led presentations activities and hands-on exercises introduce ESP product, architecture, terminology, and teach skills needed to perform strategic and tactical administrative tasks. Students learn ESP Console layout and navigation, then apply that knowledge in real-world scenarios. They learn to manage ESP infrastructure, accounts, site subscriptions, and to monitor health of ESP environment.
Course Prerequisites:
- Moderate to advanced Microsoft Windows experience
- Basic understanding of computer networking
- No ESP experience necessary

This course of education focuses on how to develop custom content. Instructor-led presentations and hands-on exercises focus on how to create Fixlets. Students work with Relevance Language and Action Script to perform custom configuration management of ESP Agents (client computers).
Course Prerequisites:
- System Administration knowledge (variables, file hierarchy, processes, file permissions, & Windows registry).
- Understanding of Boolean Logic (AND-OR-NOT and use of parenthesis in evaluation of expressions)
- Completion of Introduction to ESP (101) or 6 months ESP Console experience
- No prior scripting or programming experience required

Trend Endpoint Security Platform (ESP) Advanced Solutions Development (202)
Up to 15 people, onsite at customer, complete training for BES Console (1 x 1 day 6 hours working lunch, English)
The ESP Advanced Solution Development Course trains ESP Users, who already have skills in building ESP Client Relevance, to retrieve aggregate data on the state of the computing enterprise that can be directly presented in Web Reports or Dashboards or shipped to other systems. Through a combination of instructor-led lectures and hands-on exercises, students will gain exposure to tools in the ESP Console and the ESP Web Reports interface to build and format effective session queries using ESP Session Relevance inspectors.
